PTI founder protest call fizzles out in Rawalpindi

Protest call given by PTI former chairman in connection with his release met utter failure and not a single PTI worker came out of home in Rawalpindi.
Life remained normal in the city while stringent measures were taken to deal with violence, rioters, siege and arson incident .
Special arrangements were made outside Adiala Jail being meeting day of his lawyers with PTI founder.
No local leadership was seen on any public venue while traffic continued uninterrupted on Murree road, Mall road , Rawal road, sixth road and all high ways.
All the trade centers including Raja Bazar, Sadar, Commercial market and Murree road remained open.
A list of lawyers including Suleman Akram Raja, Barrister Suleman Safdar, Niaz Ullah Niazi and others was sent to Adiala jail administration. Police erected barricade on all the passages leading to jail being meeting and protest on the same day. Elite Force and contingent of police was deployed on gate No 5 of Adiala jail.
PTI spokesperson Niaz Ullah Niazi, Awais Younis Chaudhry and Shamsa Kiyani advocate reached Adiala jail but they were returned by police from gate No 5. Senator Dr Hummayun was returned from Wahgal by police.
Niaz Ullah Niazi said my name is in the list of visitors for meeting with PTI founder but meeting is not being allowed despite court’s orders while I had come to meet PTI founder under high court orders.
According to CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani over 4000 police officers and personnel are discharging duty in the city. Special contingent of Right Management force have been deployed.
Security situation is being monitored in the city through safe city cameras and modern monitoring system.
