Merged District Inter Academies Games 2024 conclude

Merged districts inter academies Games 2024 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have concluded. On last day in football final North Waziristan defeated South Waziristan by 4-1 goals to clinched the trophy.
Additional Secretary Sports, Pir Abdullah Shah distributed trophies and cash prizes among the winning players. Director of Sports merged districts Raziullah Khan Betni, Deputy Director Operations Jamshed Baluch, DD Sports Zakirullah Khan, AD Sports Raheed Gul, Faisal Javed, Chief coach Shafqatullah and other were also present.
Players from different districts and sub divisions participated in the games under the auspices of the Directorate of Sports. In the cricket final Mohmand beat Khyber district by six runs. In Badminton, Bajaur District defeated Mohmand District by 2-0 and got gold. A total of 455 players from 7 merged districts and 6 sub-divisions participated in the competitions.
The games were officially inaugurated on August 14 by chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur along with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Advisor Syed Fakhar Jahan and other important personalities. In the games, the winners and runners-up in cricket and football games were given cash prizes of Rs 150,000 and Rs 100,000 respectively, while in badminton, the winning team was awarded with Rs 80,000 and the runner-up team got Rs 50,000.
