Maulana Attaur Rehman elected President for JUIF KP

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl on Sunday elected new leadership in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In a unanimous decision, Senator Maulana Atta ur Rehman has been elected as the Ameer, while Maulana Attaul Haq Darwaish has been appointed as the Provincial Secretary General.
The elections took place during the General Council meeting held in Peshawar, where 1,935 out of 2,165 members participated.
The meeting, chaired by Senator Maulana Atta ur Rehman, saw significant attendance, with members from across the province.
The election process was overseen by Assistant Central Election Coordinator Abdul Jalil Jan, along with Provincial Election Coordinator Mufti Nasir Mahmood and Islamabad Election Coordinator Qari Hamdullah.
As per the announcement from the media cell, both leaders will serve a five-year term.
This election marks a crucial step for JUIF in the province, following successful elections in Gilgit Baltistan, Islamabad, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Upcoming elections are scheduled for Balochistan on September 24, Sindh on September 26, and the central elections on September 29, with all preparations in place for these events.
