Imran Khan moves IHC against supdt jail for not providing facilities in jail

RAWALPINDI
PTI founder Imran Khan has filed petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) against superintendent Adiala jail due to non availability of facilities in jail.
Imran Khan has resorted to high court through lawyers Zahir Abbas, Usman Gill and Khalid Yusuf whereby he has requested the court to provide better class jail facilities.
The petition said Superintendent Adiala jail has impeded the way of better facilities. Access is not being given to TV and exercise equipment. Delay is being caused in provision of personal dress and bed. Check up by personal doctor is being disrupted. The arrangements for doctors panel approved by court are being violated.
Imran Khan has said in the petition that supply of electricity is being disrupted in jail without any justification.
Talks with sons outside the country is not being arranged despite court’s orders.
An officer be appointed for provision of facilities. Weekly compliance report be filed.
