Fakhar handed over Rs1m to hockey player

Sports advisor praised the national player and appreciated his performance

PESHAWAR
Adviser to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sports and Youth Affairs Syed Fakhar Jahan handed over a cheque of Rs. 1 million to Zakaria Hayat belongs to Mardan and he made the country famous by performing well in recently concluded Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup played in Malaysia wherein Pakistan finished runners-up by winning silver medal.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa gave a prize of 1 million rupees to encourage Zakaria Hayat, a national player from the province. Secretary Sports Mutiullah was also present in the ceremony organized in this regard.
Sports advisor praised the national player and appreciated his performance. He said that all possible support will be given to the players and stars of our province. Because they are our valuable assets. He said that our players are playing their role in highlighting our positive identity in the outside world and are shining the name of their country through positive activities like sports, so the provincial government should patronize them at all levels.
He expressed his hope that Zakaria Hayat will perform well in the future and bring the name of the country and province to light.
