CS-KP reviews preparations for Ramadan relief package

PESHAWAR: Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shahab Ali Shah, chaired a high-level meeting via video link with all Deputy Commissioners to review matters related to good governance and the preparations for public welfare initiatives during the Holy Month of Ramazan. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioners from all districts and officials from the Performance Management and Reforms Unit (PMRU). The PMRU staff provided a comprehensive briefing on the performance of district administrations, highlighting progress on key governance initiatives and measures undertaken to ensure relief for the general public during Ramazan. Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah emphasized the need for effective governance, timely interventions, and strict monitoring of Ramazan-related relief efforts to facilitate the people of the province. He directed all district administrations to monitor the availability of essential commodities, price control, and uninterrupted provision of public services during the holy month. DLP Report
