CM KP statement of 90-day movement confession of defeat: Engr Amir Muqam

PESHAWAR
Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON, and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam on Sunday while strongly reacting to the recent statement by Chief Minister KP, urged the public not to fall for the conspirators’ deception and to remain united for Pakistan’s progress and stability.
In a statement here, he said the nation has rejected their sit-ins, long marches, and violent agenda and now they are merely flailing in their lust for power.
The Federal Minister said that PTI founder Imran Khan and his allies are once again trying to mislead the nation.
Engineer Amir Muqam questioned how those who, in the past, openly challenged state institutions and constantly spewed venom against the judiciary, the armed forces, and the government, can now speak of negotiations with any credibility.
He said Ali Amin Gandapur’s threats that “either Imran Khan will be released within 90 days or we will quit politics are nothing but another act in a drama.
“Those who always ran away from the negotiation table are now talking about negotiations again.”
He added that CM Ali Amin Gandapur was powerless himself and that the 90-day movement is merely a stunt to save the provincial government, which is under threat from within PTI itself.
“Even before it began, the 90-day movement has already flopped by bringing up the idea of negotiations. This 90-day announcement was a confession of defeat and the beginning of a worse outcome than the so-called final call.”
He said the federal government stands with the Constitution, the law, and the state institutions.
“If Imran Khan truly wants negotiations, he should first submit himself to the law, admit his mistakes, and renounce the politics of hate.”
Engr Amir Muqam said the people of the province were demanding accountability for the poor 11-year-long rule of PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“Ali Amin should first answer to the people of the province. You have seen development in Lahore what have you done in your own province? Nothing.”
Engr Amir Muqam said the people of the province cannot tolerate this anymore and will make PTI leadership accountable.
