Barrister Saif meets Afghan envoy in Islamabad

Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, met Afghan Ambassador Sardar Ahmad Shakib in Islamabad to discuss matters of mutual interest, including peace, stability, and economic cooperation, a handout said.
Barrister Dr. Saif said the provincial government under Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur was taking concrete steps to eliminate terrorism, stressing that Afghanistan’s role is vital in achieving lasting peace.
The Afghan envoy emphasized enhancing trade facilities at the Torkham border to strengthen economic ties, which he said would foster prosperity across the region.
Dr. Saif also highlighted initiatives by the KP government, including a pledged cancer hospital for the Afghan people and solar tube wells in border areas. He reiterated that mutual trust and cooperation are key to regional development.
