All parties conference demands release of Malik Nasir Ahmad Kukikhel

Organized by Zwan Kukikhel Ittehad, the All parties conference held at the historic Bab-e-Khyber called for the immediate and honorable release of tribal elder and PTM strong supporter Malik Nasir Ahmad Kukikhel, expressing deep concern over his enforced disappearance.
The conference,held at Bab-e-Khyber in Jamrud, was attended by leaders and representatives of various political parties, tribal elders, civil society members, youth and social activists.
The aim of the gathering was to formulate a joint strategy regarding the disappearance of Malik Nasir Ahmad Kokikhel, a respected tribal figure in the region.
Participants included representatives from Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Awami National Party (ANP), Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Tehreek-e-Karain Pakistan, and Bara Political Alliance, among others.
Speakers emphasized that Malik Nasir Ahmad Kukikhel is not affiliated with any political party or militant group but widely respected as a dignified and influential tribal figure.
They demanded his immediate release, highlighting the importance of upholding constitutional rights and restoring peace in the tribal areas.

Prominent speakers included Shah Jehan Afridi, Shah Faisal Afridi, Zarghoon Shah, Khan Wali Afridi (Jamaat-e-Islami); MPA and former Tehsil Chairman Abdul Ghani Afridi, Zahid Afridi, and Ashfaq Afridi (PTI Jamrud); Abdul Razzaq Afridi and Salman Afridi (ANP); Saifullah Abbas; Wahid Shah Afridi (PPP); Tehsil Chairman Azmat Khan Afridi and Syed Ghajan Kukikhel (PML-N); Haji Hashim Afridi (President Bara Political Alliance); Mufti Kafeel, Mufti Saeed Khan, Syed Kabir Afridi, Kareem Haji, and Shamsuddin (JUI).

At the conclusion of the conference, Zwan Kukikhel Ittehad president Malik Safdar Afridi, along with other party representatives, presented a unanimous declaration condemning the illegal detention of Malik Nasir. The declaration noted that courts had already granted bail in the cases registered against him, making his continued custody unjust and unlawful.
The joint statement warned that failure to release Malik Nasir Ahmad Kukikhel would lead to the launch of a resistance movement not only in Khyber but across the tribal districts, which would be expanded to national and international levels. It also announced plans to appeal to the United Nations, Human Rights Commission and other global institutions to raise voice for the human rights violations.
The leaders affirmed that the movement would persist until Malik Nasir is released with full dignity. The strong turnout and unity among political and social forces demonstrated the tribal community’s refusal to tolerate unlawful actions and their unwavering commitment to justice and peace.
