We want control over our resources: Achakzi

Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Chairman Mahmood Khan Achakzai on Sunday said that we are not in favor of any extension of Judge, general and or any one because several seniors lost their right due extension. He expressed these views while addressing the meet-the-press program at Mardan press club.
He added that the population of Balochistan is equal to a district of Punjab, there are also resources, but despite this, the people there are living in poverty. He claimed that before the 2024 election, he was told that so-and-so will be the prime minister, so-and-so will be the foreign minister and the defense minister.
Mahmood Khan argued that even then we were here when there was no Pakistan, even then we were here when there was no India it is over land. He argued that we have settled in this region for thousands of years and we have fought freedom wars in this region before the birth of Gandhi and Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s forefathers. He argued that Allah Almighty has blessed the land of Pakhtuns with all kinds of resources but unfortunately TB is the national disease of Pakhtun and the reason for this disease is poetry. He added that Islamic Republic of Pakistan is written in the constitution of Pakistan, but Pakistan is neither Islamic nor democratic.
He added that Pakistan is our country and we want to live in it as equal citizens and we don’t want charity from anyone, we want control over our resources. He argued that Allah Almighty says tell the truth, our rulers say tell lies. He argued that whether anyone believes it or not, Imran Khan’s party had won the recent elections in the whole of Pakistan and they have the right to be given the right to rule according to the constitution of Pakistan. He added that our Army Chief said in his speech that whoever does not follow the Constitution of Pakistan and Sharia is not a Pakistani. He argued that unfortunately there is neither the rule of the constitution nor Shariat in Pakistan. He added that if the rule means to construct roads, buildings and hospitals, then the British were doing it better than us and they gave judicial, police, education system, railway and several other, then why we expelled them from this country.
He argued that we expelled the British from this region so that we get control over resources and get the right to rule. He argued that we are Afghan and in our revenue record Afghan is written with our names. He added that Pakhtuns should be given the right to rule within Pakistan, which is their right.
Answering to a question about the investigation in the 9th may incidents Mahmood Khan said that the incident of 18 October, assassination of Benazir Bhutto,, assassination of Murtaz Bhutto, 16th December 1978 fall of Dhaka and other incidents should also investigate and also brought Hamood-ur-Rehman commission report before the masses. He argued that it is need of time that all Pakhtun should be united.
He argued that in the current time Pakistan is standing on the edge of distraction and if we do not implement the rule of constitution it will become more dangerous.
