Siraj ul Haq expresses concern over country’s ‘worsening situation’

Former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) n and Senator Sirajul Haq has expressed grave concerns over the current situation in the country, stating that the nation is in a state of chaos and there is no effective government.
He made these remarks while attending a condolence meeting for the late Haji Ahmed Khan Khalil, a senior member of the party Garhi Sikandar Khan, Peshawar.
Sirajul Haq while sharing the country’s troubled history, noting that while it has faced many tragedies, the lessons from these experiences have yet to be learned.
He highlighted the worsening issues of inflation and unemployment, which continue to rise without any significant relief for the people.
The former Senator called on the government to abolish laws that contradict Islamic principles, including those related to interest, and to address the pressing economic challenges facing the nation.
