Provincial Chairman of the Qaumi Watan Party (QWP), Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao, has criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government for misusing the province’s resources on Islamabad sit-ins, alleging that it damaged the image of the Pakhtuns.
He was speaking at a meeting with party workers and officials in Union Council Tangi, Sherpao village.
Sherpao said the poor policies and protest politics of the PTI government have inflicted irreparable damage on KP, sidelining crucial issues like economic stability, law and order, and the rights of the province.
“The PTI has trampled the peace-loving and patriotic identity of the Pakhtuns to achieve its political objectives,” he remarked.
He expressed concern over rising inflation, unemployment, and a deteriorating law and order situation, particularly in Kurram district.
Sherpao urged the provincial government to take immediate and serious steps to address these issues and restore peace across the province.
The meeting also reviewed the party’s organizational matters and discussed the regional and political situation.
