PM meets Maulana Fazlur Rehman

ISLAMABAD
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has proposed to JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to constitute committee to address political issues with mutual cooperation.
PM Shehbaz Sharif reached residence of Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday to appease him.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman welcomed PM.
PM lauded the religious services of Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
PM said Maulana always promoted peaceful struggle for safeguarding democratic norms. We hold it in high esteem .
Sources said PM sought support from Maulana Fazlur Rehman with reference to budget-2024 in the meeting.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman once again informed PM about his reservations regarding results of February election saying we are struggling for democracy, transparent election and supremacy of constitution. We wanted all democratic forces should play their role together for strengthening democracy.
PM said we are convinced of your services for democracy
Sources said Maulana Atta ur Reman, Maulana Abdul Wasay and other leaders were also present in the meeting.
