I could not perform Hajj being my name in ECL: Zartaj Gul

PTI parliamentary leader Zartaj Gul has said she could not perform Hajj being her name in Exit Control List (ECL). “I could not proceed to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj being my name in ECL Now I will go to perform Umrah due to removal of my name from ECL under court’s order. I am not among those who flee, she said this while talking to media men here in Islamabad High Court (IHC).
Zartaj Gul said We are not among those who flee from country. We have no properties outside Pakistan nor have we any business. We live and die for Pakistan. We are proud of being Pakistani.
My name was placed in ECL without any proof, she said adding court kept on asking them to provide proof repeatedly but neither federal government nor provincial government had any evidence which they could produce in the court.
Every day baseless cases are registered against us. It is their endeavor that we should leave our leader Imran Khan. But it is their misperception and we will support Imran Khan till our last breath.
