Good news on power prices coming soon: PM Shehbaz

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has said he will give good news for reduction in electricity tariff in coming few days to the nation adding industrial sector in the country cannot develop without curtailment in price of electricity.
“ Our journey as a nation could not become enviable during the last 77 years which is regrettable, he said this while addressing the main ceremony held in connection with Independence Day celebrations in Islamabad Wednesday morning.
He called for hard work, honesty and passion to change fate of the nation and put the country on path of development and prosperity.
He cautioned that enemy is using weapon of digital terrorism. Youths are being misled through digital terrorism. Youths should keep secure from evils of chaos and delusion.
My heart is saddened over atrocities being perpetrated in Palestine. We will continue to stand with the people of Kashmir and Palestine till their independence.
We need self accountability. We will have to evolve future planning by forging unity in our ranks. We must go for self introspection as a nation. We have to decide either we have to live a borrowed life or like a dream for the realization of which Pakistan had come to existence.
Turning to issues being faced by the country, the Prime Minister pledged to work hard till the last drop of his blood to reduce inflation and electricity prices and revamp Pakistan’s economy.
He said the reduction in inflation and electricity bills is vital for the development of agriculture and industry, enhancing exports and providing solace to domestic power consumers.
Shehbaz Sharif announced that the nation would hear good news regarding the reduction in electricity prices in the next few days. He said a five-year economic programme will soon be launched.
The Prime Minister also urged the youth to focus on their studies, training, and skills and avoid becoming prey to the forces of chaos, anarchy and deception.
He said the foes of Pakistan have continuously been targeting the minds of young people through digital terrorism to mislead them.
He paid rich tribute to labourers, daily-wagers, engineers, doctors, teachers, students, writers, journalists, sportsmen and other sections of society for their contribution to serving the motherland.
He also presented glowing tribute to the valiant personnel of security forces and law enforcement agencies for rendering supreme sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
He held there is long list of successes and failures . I will address the nation within a few days. I will present 5-year economic program in the address.
China got independence after two years of Pakistan. We were ahead of China but now we have lagged behind China.
He observed our enemy is using every tactics to prevent Pakistan from going ahead. Our enemy is scared of our nuclear power . The enemy has started bombardment of lies through digital terrorism
