Gillani challenges powers of jurisdiction of AC, NAB

Former Prime Minister (PM) Yousuf Raza Gillani has challenged powers of jurisdiction of court and NAB in Toshakhana vehicles reference.
Toshakhana vehicles reference against president Asif Ali Zardari, former prime ministers Nawaz Sharif and Yousuf Raza Gillani came up for hearing in Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad.
Yousuf Raza Gillani challenged the jurisdiction powers of court and NAB.
Counsel for Yousuf Raza Gillani said in the court the powers of jurisdiction of NAB and AC stands abolished following the restoration of NAB amendment Bill.
Judge Abid Sajjad of AC issued notice to NAB on the petition of Yousuf Raza Gillani.
Notice said NAB should inform either Toshakhana case falls in its powers of jurisdiction or otherwise. The hearing of petition on powers of jurisdiction of AC and NAB was adjourned till September 26.
