CM Punjab promoting culture of suppression, misusing power, says Barrister Saif

PESHAWAR
The spokesperson of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif has criticized the Punjab government, accusing the Sharif family of misusing power and promoting a culture of suppression.
In a statement issued here Barrister Saif alleged that the Punjab government has deployed extra police force in the province to suppress Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers.
He claimed that this is an old practice of the Sharif family, who use government officials to target political opponents.
The KP government spokesperson also accused the Punjab Chief Minister of suffering from a “misunderstanding” about her authority, saying she acts like a “Rajkumari” (princess) rather than a democratically elected leader.
Barrister Saif vowed that the PTI workers will not be intimidated by the government’s tactics and that the party will avenge all atrocities committed against them.
