Cabinet approves operation Azam-e-Istehkam

ISLAMABAD
Federal cabinet while endorsing the recommendations of Apex Committee of National Action Plan accorded approval to Operation Azam-e-Istehkam. 11-point agenda of meeting was issued.
Prime Minister (PM) Shahbaz Sharif informed the federal cabinet about speculations regarding operation Azam-e-Istehkam saying operation Azam-e-Istehkam is not like the operation of past. People will have neither to face any difficulty in operation Azam-e-Istehkam nor any action like this will be taken in homes of people. But intelligence based action will be taken against some anti social elements. Federal cabinet approved operation Azam-e-Istehkam.
Federal cabinet also deliberated over annual report of National Economic Council for the financial year 2022-23.
Cabinet also endorsed the decisions of ECC, CCLLC and cabinet committee for government owned institutions.
The federal cabinet also gave approval to NOC for sending shipment of spare parts of world food program to Afghanistan and appointment of first Rector of Peer Roshan Institute of progressive Sciences and technologies.
