Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif has stated that accusations are made regarding May 9, but no evidence is presented in court. Women and workers are in your custody; they should be brought before the courts.
Imran Khan has also said that video evidence should be brought forward. Shakeel Ahmed Khan is a veteran leader who has endured sacrifices and the hardships of imprisonment. He resigned due to certain issues.
He expressed these views during a press conference in Peshawar. Barrister Saif said that many people have been in physical remand for a year, and even judicial remand hasn’t been done. Rana Sanaullah and others hold press conferences about May 9, but accusations don’t prove guilt. The accused from May 9 should be presented in court, and whatever punishment is appropriate should be given.
The fake government is doing all this to extend its unconstitutional rule. He said that there is a narrative being pushed that PTI and the army are at odds. Efforts are being made to pit us against the army so that both sides give statements against each other. On Imran Khan’s instructions, a committee has been established, tasked with facilitating an investigation into allegations of corruption against the government. Committee members Shah Farman and Qazi Anwar assisted Musaddiq Abbasi in the investigation. This case emerged some time ago, and action was taken over two weeks.
All statements were recorded, and a report was prepared and submitted with recommendations to the Chief Minister. Based on the report, the Chief Minister has sent a summary to the Governor to de-notify.
The summary for removing Shakeel Ahmed was sent first, and the resignation came later. Committee members can provide details during a press conference if they wish. Imran Khan has made it clear that if anyone is accused of corruption, this committee will investigate. If allegations are made against anyone, this same committee will handle it.
