UAE has assured of investing 10 billion dollars in diverse sectors: FO

Foreign Office (FO) Spokesperson has said during the visit of Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif United Arab Emirates (UAE) has assured of investing 10 billion dollars in Pakistan in diverse fields.
FO Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said this during weekly press briefing here Friday. She said PM Shehbaz Sharif undertook one day visit of UAE
He met Pakistani and UAE businessmen affiliated with information technology and investors therein. UAE has made commitment of investing 10 billion dollars in diverse sectors in Pakistan. This investment will be made in renewable energy, information technology and other sectors.
Exchange of several delegations between Pakistan and UAE continue to take place, she added.
PM Shehbaz Sharif met UAE president Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi.
Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Ishaq Dar, Minister for commerce Jam Kamal Khan, minister for defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif and special assistant to PM, Syed Tariq Fatemi were also present in the meeting. She told bilateral ties between the two countries were discussed in the meeting.
Shehbaz offered condolence on the passing away of late Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohamed Al Nahyan and late Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
PM also went to Iran to condole over passing away of Iranian president and his associates. He attended funeral of Iranian president. Pakistan stands with government of Iran and people of Iran in this trying hour. Iran has full capability to investigate into incident. If Iran needs Pakistan support then Pakistan is ready to extend help.
She reiterated Pakistan will continue to support people of Kashmir in their struggle to seek right to self determination.
India is trampling human rights in occupied Kashmir. India wields no right to make any decision about Occupied Kashmir. Pakistan strongly condemns Indian aggression in Occupied Kashmir.
Giving reaction to drone attack in South Waziristan she said we equally share the grief of the families of those killed in South Waziristan. We express condolence with their families. Foreign office will give no opinion on alleged drone attack. In this regard ISPR be contacted.
Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Ishaq Dar also visited Ka9.
