Musadiq appointed SACM on anti-corruption

Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has appointed Brigadair (R) Muhammad Musadiq Abbasi as Special Assistant on Anti-Corruption.
A notification issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Administration Department stated: “ In excercise of the power confered by Section 3(1) & of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Advisors and Special Assistants to the Chief Minister (Appointment) Act, 1989, the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is pleased to appoint Brig (r) Muhammad Musaddiq Abbasi as Special Assistant to Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Anti-corruption with immediate idiate effect.”
Abbasi had also acted as Advisor to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Accountibility and Interriro soon after Shahzad Akbar resignation in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in the centre.
Retired Brigadier Musadiq Abbasi held key positions, including Director General of National Accountability Buraue’s Karachi office, NAB’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa office, Rawalpindi NAB director and DG training at the NAB headquarters before retiring in 2014.
The provincial cabinet now has 15 ministers, two advisers and four Special Assistants.
