KP Governor assure to resolve problems of Wazir tribesmen

Mehsud welfare organization delegation calls on KP Governor

PESHAWAR
A representative delegation of Wazir tribe belonging to Bannu Domail called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi and informed him about their problems.
Provincial President Pakistan People Party, Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha and Provincial Secretary Coordination, Farzand Ali Wazir was also present on the occasion.
The delegation informed Governor about overall situation of their area and problems being confronted by people.
Talking to delegation, KP Governor said that deteriorating law and order conditions have negatively impacted business activities in the area.
Expressing concern over the situation, he assured that promises made to tribal people would be fulfilled and efforts would be made to bring tribesmen in national mainstream of development.
He said that voice would be raised at available forums for facilitation of tribal people and to provide them opportunities of growth and development. He also urged locals and young generation to support efforts of security forces in maintaining peace in the area.
Meanwhile, a representative delegation of Mehsud Welfare Association here Friday called on KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi at Governor House.
Led by veteran tribal elder Rehmat Khan Mehsud and comprised of its members Roshan Khan Mehsud, Noor Rehman Wazir, Pakistan Peoples’ Party Tank Divisional President Fateh Sher Mehsud and district president Sardar Hidyatullah Gandapur and others, the delegation appraised the Governor about performance and objectives of the organization.
It was informed that scholarship was provided to over 200 talented students by the association and briefing on the education city at Waziristan was also given to KP Governor.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi assured support regarding establishment of Danash school at Waziristan. He said that concerns regarding educational facilities in KP especially in merged tribal districts were based on realities.
He said the Prime Minister was giving special attention to vocational education training and we are in close touch with NAVTEC for vocational training programs in line with modern requirements in Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
Extending full support to the girls students in allied health sciences and technical training, he said the services of government and civil society for promotion of education was praised worthy.
Ex Minister calls on KP Governor
Former Provincial Minister, Muzaffar Syed here Friday called on the Khyber Pakthunkhwa Governor, Faisal Karim Kundi here at Governor House.
During the meeting, peoples’ problems related to education and health besides other sectors came under discussion.
Expressing concerns over the poor status of the education sector in Khyber Pakthunkhwa, the Governor said there were no permanent vice chancellors in 26 public sector universities of Khyber Pakthunkhwa besides these universities were also suffering from financial problems.
For this purpose, he said that the education task force was being constituted while work on the health task force was underway to address problems of this sector also in KP.
The Governor said the unity of political leadership of KP was key for obtaining provincial rights.
Muzaffar Syed appreciated the efforts of KP Governor for raising the province issues with the concerned authorities at federal level besides uniting the political leadership of the province for provincial rights.
