IHC directs to arrange meeting of Imran with party leaders

Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed superintendent Adiala jail to arrange meeting of PTI founder Imran Khan with party leaders on Tuesday. The court has given indication to constitute commission to settle dispute between Jail authorities and PTI lawyers.
Judge Sardar Ejaz Ishaq remarked who will meet PTI founder. Dispute between Jail authorities and PTI founder coordinators has come to fore. Family friends and the lawyers who want to meet PTI founder will file list in the court. I will constitute commission. Superintendent Adiala jail will get list from PTI founder and send it to the Advocate General (AG) Islamabad. It is hoped the dispute between jail authorities and lawyers of PTI founder will come to end. I will constitute commission . It will meet PTI founder in jail.
The court directed to send the copy of upcoming list to secretary PTI Suleman Akram Raja.
The contempt of court plea on not arranging meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan despite court’s orders came up for hearing. Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan heard the petition.
Faisal Farid Chaudhry counsel for PTI founder, superintendent Adiala jail Abdul Ghafoor Anjum and Advocate General (AG) Ayyaz Shaukat appeared in the court,
Faisal Chaudhry advocate said there was schedule of meeting a day before but meeting was not arranged. It has been told Adiala road was blocked a day before. Common man is also affected.
AG said reply has been filed in this contempt of court case. We have made it clear in our reply that there are three coordinators as per court’s order. No list has been given to us that these six people want to meet.
Faisal Chaudhry advocate said Intezar Punjotha was coordinator who had gone missing. We had given list.
The court while addressing to AG said you are saying list has not been provided. They are saying list has been given. You should tell now when you will hold their meeting with PTI founder. They give list to you just now.
Supdt Adiala jail said our doctors conduct medical check up of PTI founder three times daily.
The court inquired why you cannot arrange meeting tomorrow.
Superintendent Adiala jail said their meeting is scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday. We have to make security arrangements in other days being the matter high profile. Faisal Chaudhry meets PTI founder 8 hours daily.
