CDA fetched Rs52b revenue during current FY

For the first time in the history of CDA has fetched revenue Rs. 52 billion rupees during a financial year. Rs. 52 billion rupees revenue was received in the financial year 2023-24.
In line with the directions of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa took measures for revenue generation and CDA received 7.9 billion rupees in the two months i.e May and June 2024.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa has said that previously in the financial year 2021-22, CDA received the highest revenue of Rs 47.6 billion. The revenue target for the financial year 2023-24 was set at 41.8 billion rupees, but under the effective strategy, 23% more revenue than the target set for the financial year was achieved.
Chairman CDA has said that instead of selling assets CDA will be made a financially stable organization. In this connection work alternative sources of revenue are being explored.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi congratulated Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa and his team for collecting record revenue and said that the CDA team collected more revenue than the target by working hard and passionately during 2 months. He further directed to focus on revenue generation during the current financial year with the same determination.
