Case against preventing lawyers from entering into Adiala jail: IHC constitutes 3-lawyer commission

Islamabad High Court (IHC) while constituting commission of 3 lawyers in regard to case against preventing the lawyers from entering into Adiala Jail has wrapped up the petition.
The court has written in its order that the vehicle of lawyers will be allowed to enter into jail from outer gate after 10 minutes checking.
3-member commission will visit Adiala jail and file impartial report. Superintendent Adiala jail will give affidavit that no device has been installed at the venue of meeting. Three associates of the lawyers who are having power of attorney will be allowed to enter into Adiala jail.
Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan remarked the word security is misused most of all in this country. All know what is happening. Jail administration has no role therein. Two options are left with this court to resolve this problem. One is the trial be shifted from jail to some other place. The second is that a commission under young lawyers be made . It will visit jail and report to court if it sees any ups and down.
He gave these remarks during the hearing of petition filed against preventing PTI lawyers Faisal Chaudhry and Naeem Haider Panjutha from entering into Adiala jail.
Superintendent Adiala jail and Prosecutor General (PG) Islamabad appeared in the court.
Jail superintendent Ghafoor Anjum told the court we allow all learned lawyers to enter into jail.
The court remarked it is complaint from the lawyers that they are made their stand for two hours. It is told that drinking water facility is also not available.
Superintendent jail told the court full facility is provided to all the lawyers.
The court remarked the lawyers vehicle will be allowed to enter into jail from outer gate after 10 minute checking.
A 3-member commission will visit jail and file impartial report.
Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan remarked is PTI founder a terrorist that his trial has to be conducted in such security.
The court remarked allowing the accused to meet his lawyers is must. Giving not permission to accused is offence of direct contempt of court.
Advocate General (AG) Islamabad said we give affidavit that there will be no such complaint in future.
Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan remarked if the affidavit is violated then it will too be contempt of court.
Faisal Chaudhry said jail court is community centre. It is like old cinema where film run.
Justice Sardar Ejaz remarked still film is being run there.
AG Islamabad said trial judge is present in Adiala jail. Petition be filed in his court. Trial judge can issue direction if he deems it proper.
The court remarked no direction will come from there. You know it and we too know it.
The court while constituting commission comprising three lawyers wrapped up the petition.
