ATC fixes Nov 16 for indictment of PTI founder, others in GHQ attack case

Judge Amjid Ali Shah of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has fixed November 16 for indictment in GHQ attack case due to non completion of attendance of all the accused including PTI former chairman , former foreign minister and others.
The court distributed copies of case among the remaining accused persons and adjourned the hearing of the case.
The court has reserved judgment on acquittal plea of former federal minister Sheikh Rashid which is likely to be announced on next hearing.
Under the orders of court Jail administration presented report on telephonic contact between PTI founder and his sons.
Umar Ayoub, Zartaj Gul, Raja Basharat, Shibli Faraz, Sadaqat Abbasi, Raja Arshid Hafeez, Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi, Col (Retd) Ajmal Sabir, federal and provincial ministers, members of assemblies and other accused including PTI founder were to be indicted on Friday. But indictment could not be framed due to non holding of hearing of case in jail. The hearing of the case was adjourned till November 16.
