Gandapur announced to support the children of former Khasadar Force martyrs by recruiting them into police force

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, has announced measures to support the children of former Khasadar Force martyrs by recruiting them into the police force. During a meeting with a multi-member tribal jirga comprising elders of the Khyber district at the Chief Minister’s House, he emphasized the provincial government’s commitment to fulfilling the promises made to the people of the merged districts, ensuring they receive their full rights.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa acknowledged the countless sacrifices made by the tribal people for the nation and reiterated his dedication to delivering on promises that are practical and achievable. He highlighted that funds allocated in the provincial budget for the next financial year exceed the initial commitments for the development of the merged districts.
Echoing the vision of Imran Khan, the Chief Minister expressed a firm resolve to elevate the backward districts to the level of other districts. The merged districts, having been the most affected by the war against terrorism, will now witness comprehensive development to address their deprivations. Plans are also in place to provide enhanced health and education facilities at the local level. The upcoming budget will facilitate youth entrepreneurship through interest-free loans, with a specific quota for the youth of the merged districts.
In his address, the Chief Minister assured the Jirga which was headed by Member of National Assembly Iqbal Afridi and former Federal Minister Noorul Haq Qadri, that unprecedented development projects will be initiated under the current Provincial government. He emphasized the importance of community involvement in monitoring the quality of development work and urged immediate action against any substandard projects. CM Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur called upon the local populace to assist in eradicating drugs and corruption, which undermine the nation’s foundations.
The Chief Minister also discussed the introduction of a new mining policy that guarantees full rights to the areas where mining activities occur. Further, he outlined a comprehensive strategy aimed at improving law and order in the merged districts, recognizing that peace is integral to the province’s development and prosperity. He stated that the issues faced by the former Khasadar force of the merged districts will be addressed collectively.
Addressing regarding the financial constraints, Chief Minister noted the federal government’s incomplete disbursement of funds for the merged districts and solicited the support of the people to secure the province’s rightful dues. He vowed to continue advocating for the province’s rights on every platform.
The jirga, which comprised of Member of Provincial Assembly Abdul Ghani Afridi, Maliks, and local elders of the Khyber district, expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur for proactive stance on the district’s issues, especially in sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, clean drinking water, and electricity. They assured their full support to the provincial government in addressing these issues.
