\nField Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, called on the President of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, on Tuesday and exchanged views on regional developments, peace initiatives and bilateral cooperation.
\nDuring the meeting, President Pezeshkian appreciated Pakistan\u2019s constructive and responsible role in promoting dialogue, de-escalation and regional stability. He acknowledged Pakistan\u2019s consistent efforts to encourage the peaceful resolution of disputes and foster understanding among regional stakeholders amid evolving geopolitical challenges.
