\nThe R-4 Ministerial Meeting commenced in Cairo, Egypt, on Sunday in a restricted format, bringing together the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and T\u00fcrkiye to discuss key regional developments and strengthen cooperation among the four countries.
\nDeputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar represented Pakistan at the meeting, alongside Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
\nAccording to the Foreign Office, the ministers reviewed regional developments, discussed the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and explored priority areas of cooperation among the participating countries.
\nThe meeting also focused on promoting dialogue, diplomacy and regional ownership in addressing common challenges facing the region.
\nThe four ministers reaffirmed their collective commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination on issues of mutual interest and emphasized the importance of peaceful engagement and constructive diplomacy.
\nParticipants noted that Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, T\u00fcrkiye and Egypt continue to deepen collaboration aimed at promoting a more peaceful, stable and interconnected region.
