Capital City Police Officer Peshawar Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed on Friday inspected security arrangements for the central Muharram procession, directing officers to ensure strict implementation of the three-tier security plan.
\nAccompanied by SSP Operations Farhan Khan, the CCPO visited key routes, entry and exit points, and sensitive locations along the procession path. He examined rooftop duty posts, plugging points, and the overall security cordon, issuing on-the-spot instructions to field officers.
\nDr. Ahmed also monitored the procession\u2019s movement in real time through drone cameras and the central monitoring system. He instructed personnel deployed on duty to remain alert and vigilant at all times.
\n\u201cThe procession has been provided with three-tier security, and there will be no compromise on the protection of life and property or on the maintenance of law and order,\u201d the CCPO said.
