ISLAMABAD
\nIsphanyar Bhandara, Member of the National Assembly from the Pakistan Muslim League (N), hosted his annual minority lunch at his residence in Rawalpindi, bringing together representatives from a wide spectrum of religious communities in a show of unity and interfaith harmony.
\nThe gathering was attended by members of the Sikh, Parsi, Baha\u2019i, Kalasha, Buddhist, Hindu and Christian communities, along with Muslims, as well as prominent religious figures and public personalities.
\nAmong the notable attendees were former Bishop Samuel Azariah, Dr. Majid Abel, Administrative Senior Pastor of the Naulakha Presbyterian Church of Pakistan, and Guru Sukhdev, a leading figure among the Nath Panthi Yogis.
\nThe event also saw the participation of sitting and former parliamentarians, including Naveed Amir Jeeva, Neelum Kumari, Asiya Nasir, Zammurd Khan, and Kamran Michael.
\nFormer members of provincial assemblies, including Gursaran Lal, Joel Amir Sahotra, and Wilson Wazir, were also in attendance.
\nSpeaking on the occasion, Isphanyar Bhandara expressed gratitude to the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League (N) for its continued commitment to an inclusive and representative Pakistan.
\nHe said such efforts reflect the ideals of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who envisioned a Pakistan where all citizens enjoy equal rights and opportunities regardless of faith.
\nHe also acknowledged the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif, highlighting Pakistan\u2019s emergence as a credible interlocutor for peace and regional cooperation under his stewardship.
\nHe further appreciated the role of Field Marshal Asim Munir in reinforcing these efforts and contributing to the country\u2019s growing diplomatic stature.
\nThe annual lunch has become a regular feature aimed at fostering dialogue, strengthening mutual respect, and celebrating Pakistan\u2019s religious diversity.
