Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations Shafi Jan has strongly condemned the suicide blast near a police station in a civilian area of Domel in Bannu, terming it a cowardly act targeting innocent people.
\nIn a statement issued here, Mr Jan expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives, including three women among the five victims, describing the incident as tragic and highly condemnable.
\nHe said targeting civilians, particularly women and children, was an inhumane act that could not be justified under any circumstances. \u201cNo religion, including Islam, permits such heinous acts,\u201d he added.
\nMr Jan reiterated that such acts of terrorism would not weaken the government\u2019s resolve or dampen the morale of the people. He said the nation stood united in its determination to eliminate terrorism.
\nHe also prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls and for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack.
