Both exchanged views on strengthening academic standards, innovation in teaching methodologies, and aligning education with contemporary global demands.<br \/>\nThe Minister was given a detailed briefing on NUML\u2019s academic programs, ongoing initiatives, international collaborations, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), and institutional structure. Director Academics, Dr. Nadeem Talib, presented an overview of the university\u2019s achievements and future roadmap.<br \/>\nDr. Wajiha Qamar appreciated NUML\u2019s pivotal role in promoting linguistic diversity and cultural connectivity, highlighting its contributions toward bridging cultures through language education. Rector NUML, Major General Shahid Mahmood Kayani, underscored the importance of education diplomacy and emphasized the need to further strengthen academic collaboration at the international level.<br \/>\nHe highlighted NUML\u2019s vision to position Pakistan as an attractive destination for foreign students by expanding scholarship opportunities, enhancing international outreach, and introducing globally competitive academic programs. He also stressed the significance of integrating language proficiency with professional education to meet emerging market needs and promoting research-driven learning to address global challenges.<br \/>\nDuring the discussion, the Minister proposed the development of a formal mechanism whereby certified interpreters trained at NUML could provide professional interpretation services to government ministries and other organisations.
