\nSenior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza directed police officers to intensify crackdown against proclaimed offenders, car and motorcycle thieves, and organised criminal gangs across the federal capital.
\nAn official told media on Friday that the SSP chaired a meeting to review crime control and security arrangements, which was attended by zonal SPs, SDPOs and SHOs.SSP Qazi reviewed the performance of all officers in detail and reprimanded those showing unsatisfactory performance, while appreciating effective policing measures.
\nQazi Ali Raza issued clear directions to adopt effective strategies for crime prevention and ensure strict and indiscriminate action against proclaimed offenders, active criminal gangs, drug peddlers and illegal weapon holders.
\nSSP Qazi also ordered strict action against land grabbers and those involved in display of weapons, directing officers to ensure visible policing across the city.
\nHe said all patrolling units had been directed to remain active in the field, while SHOs were instructed to further strengthen night patrolling and ensure presence of police vehicles on roads.
\nSSP Qazi emphasized the importance of community policing and directed officers to ensure prompt response to public complaints and facilitate citizens.
\nQazi Ali Raza said that good performance would be rewarded, while negligence in duties would lead to strict departmental action.
