Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that Kashmir Solidarity Day reminds the world of Pakistan\u2019s firm commitment to stand with the Kashmiri people in their struggle for the right to self-determination.
\nIn a message on February 5, he said that grave human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), including the killing of innocent Kashmiris and curbs on freedom of expression, are a matter of grave concern for the international community.
\nThe minister said Pakistan believed that the only lasting solution to the Kashmir dispute lies in line with United Nations resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
\nCalling on global powers and international human rights organisations, Dr Tariq Fazal urged them to take notice of Indian violations and play their role in immediately stopping the killing and persecution of unarmed Kashmiris.
\nHe said Pakistan supports a peaceful, dialogue-based and justice-oriented settlement of the Kashmir issue and will continue its political, diplomatic, and moral support for its Kashmiri brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
