Indian move is gross violation of article 26 of Vienna Convention.<br \/>\nHe pointed out extraordinary changes were recorded in River Chenab flow twice this year. Immense fluctuation was noticed in water flow from April 30 to May 21 and December 7 to 15, 2025.<br \/>\nIndia released water in river Chenab without prior notice. Necessary data and information were not provided to Pakistan under agreement.<br \/>\nHe held Pakistan adopted formal diplomatic and legal way through its Indus Water Commissioner. The recent Indian move is clear example of use of water as weapon by India.<br \/>\nWhile inviting attention of world countries he said Indian steps are posing threat to food security in Pakistan.<br \/>\nIndia should discharge its obligations as per IWT. India is out to weaken the agreement in organized way.<br \/>\nHe indicated the projects like Kushan Ganga and Ratlay defy the technical conditions of the project.<br \/>\nIndia is continuing construction of illegal dams. The capability of storing water of India and its illegal use is on rise due to construction of dams.<br \/>\nHe warned that Pakistan had to face the threats of flood and drought due to such steps of India. Indian water steps have potential to create human crisis.<br \/>\nIWT is an important source of peace and stability in South Asia.<br \/>\nHe informed the diplomats that escaping from resolution of disputes by India is negation of international laws.<br \/>\nThe arbitration court upheld the status of IWT in June and August 2025.<br \/>\nThe IWT is in place and it is mandatory for the parties concerned to uphold it.<br \/>\nHe remarked Indian interior minister announced not to restore the agreement besides changing the direction of water. Pakistan has made it clear that stopping water or changing its direction will be declaration of war.<br \/>\nHe made it clear Pakistan raised this issue repeatedly in UN Security Council. Pakistan is desirous of resolving the problems in peaceful manner.
