Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi Tuesday paid rich tribute to the security forces for carrying out a successful operation in Dera Ismail Khan, neutralising seven terrorists and averting a major security threat through timely and professional action.
\nIn a statement, the minister praised the bravery, professionalism and courage of the security personnel, saying their swift response prevented potential loss of innocent lives and ensured public safety.
\nHe said the nation takes pride in its valiant forces who continue to make immense sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
\nThe minister expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Naik Yasir Khan, who embraced martyrdom during the operation.
\nHe offered prayers for the forgiveness and elevation of ranks of the martyr and extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family.
\n\u201cNaik Yasair Khan\u2019s supreme sacrifice has made the entire nation proud. The sacrifices of our brave martyrs will never be forgotten,\u201d the minister said.
\nReaffirming the government\u2019s resolve, the minister said that the war against terrorism would continue until the complete elimination of the last terrorist.
