Referring to the Middle East, he added, \u201cPakistan supports the Gaza peace plan and its subsequent endorsement by the UN Security Council. We hope ongoing efforts will ensure a permanent ceasefire, allow the flow of critical humanitarian aid, and help in the reconstruction of Gaza.\u201d<br \/>\nOn the issue of Kashmir and Palestine, he said, \u201cPakistan has been and shall continue to support all efforts aimed at upholding the inalienable right to self-determination of Palestinian people as well as the brave and resilient Kashmiri people.\u201d<br \/>\nAddressing global terrorism, Shehbaz Sharif called on the international community to \u201curge the Afghan Taliban regime to fulfill its international obligations and commitments and rein in terror elements operating from its territory.\u201d<br \/>\nOn sustainable development, the Prime Minister said, \u201cThe pursuit of lasting peace is intrinsically linked to the path of sustainable development. The 2030 agenda presents a universal blueprint for a better and peaceful world.\u201d<br \/>\nHighlighting domestic priorities, he said, \u201cSocio-economic development and welfare of the people is my government\u2019s foremost priority. We have advanced financial inclusion and brought women and marginalized communities into the economic mainstream.\u201d<br \/>\nOn climate action, Shehbaz Sharif said, \u201cPakistan has demonstrated its strong commitment to cleaner and greener solutions and set a global example in ecosystem restoration. However, like other developing countries, our quest for sustainable development faces challenges from climate-induced disasters and inequities in international economic relations.\u201d<br \/>\nDescribing climate change, poverty, and inequality as \u201ctransnational threats,\u201d he emphasized that \u201cthese challenges demand international solutions built on shared responsibility and unity of purpose\u201d and that \u201caccess to advanced technologies, especially digital technologies, must be equitable.\u201d<br \/>\nOn regional connectivity, the Prime Minister said, \u201cInvestments in connectivity projects should not just move goods but also serve as bridges for peoples, ideas, and prosperity.
