\nThe Director Deneral of Inter-Services Public Relations, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry while declaring PTI founder Imran Khan the biggest national security threat has made it clear his designs will not be allowed to be materialized at any cost.
\n\u201cWho is this mentally ill person. Pakistan army is there. Pakistan army is as long as Pakistan is. We are not going any where. His narrative has been defeated badly. He is supportive of talks with terrorists. Then he should bring his sons before Khwaraj.
\nHis narrative is spread by Indian media and Afghan media. They are his facilitators. Our armed forces are shield against Indian designs. Creating fissure between people and armed forces will not be allowed. Government has to decide about imposing governor rule in KP and imposing ban on PTI, he said this while speaking at a press conference in Rawalpindi Friday,
\nHe said that one individual has become a national security threat, cautioning that the public will not be allowed to be incited against the Pakistan Army.
\nHe also congratulated the nation on the establishment of the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) headquarters, calling it a \u201clong-awaited necessity\u201d to achieve synergy and jointness in Pakistan\u2019s military operations.
\n\u201cThis has been widely discussed in the media. The nature of warfare has evolved \u2013 operations now span multiple domains.
\nIt\u2019s no longer just land, sea, and air; warfare also occurs in space, cyberspace, the informational domain, and relies heavily on intelligence,\u201d he said. He added, \u201cWars today are violent, short, and intense. To ensure efficiency and effectiveness, the CDF headquarters was essential, as seen in other countries as well.\u201d
\nThe DG ISPR highlighted the character and role of Pakistan\u2019s armed forces. \u201cWe do not represent any region, ethnicity, religious group, or political ideology.
\nOur military includes people of every language, religion, region, and sect. Our sole agenda is Pakistan,\u201d he said, stressing that the armed forces primarily comprise middle and lower-middle class citizens. \u201cIf anyone attacks the Pakistan Army based on personal thinking, we will respond.\u201d
\nHe recalled past attempts to destabilise the country, including calls to halt remittances abroad and targeting military leadership during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos against a force eight times stronger. He questioned whether such actions were creating space for an \u201calternate army\u201d and warned that attempts to divide the public from the armed forces would not be tolerated.
\nLt Gen Chaudhry urged political parties and individuals to keep politics away from the military. \u201cConstructive criticism or observations about the Army are acceptable, but inciting the public against the military will not be allowed,\u201d he said.
\n\u201cIndian media is the biggest facilitator of a particular group,\u201d he said. He added that the armed forces were being consistently mocked, incited against, and defamed on social media. \u201cThe KP government has been in power for 12 to 13 years \u2014 where is education and development?\u201d he asked.
\n\u2018Time for politics, theatrics over\u2019
\nHe said that from morning till evening, various individuals, including mentally unstable ones, speak against the army. He also referred to an incident in Peshawar where some people \u201cwanted to open an office for terrorists.\u201d
\n\u201cWhat should be done with those who attacked Cadet College Wana?\u201d he asked. \u201cThe time for your politics and theatrics is over,\u201d he said, stressing that certain individuals only create narratives against the Pakistan Army. They also said that the country would default or that the army could not fight, but it did, he remarked.
\n\u201cWe will not allow lies and deceit to run in the country. This person is very much influenced by the traitor Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,\u201d the military spokesperson said. Finally, he emphasized, \u201cWithout the state of Pakistan, we have neither identity nor a place in time.\u201d
\nIn terms of regional security, the spokesman questioned whether Pakistan\u2019s security could ever be guaranteed by Kabul. \u201cSecurity is not obtained by begging. If that was the case, Gaza would not be in the condition it is in today,\u201d he remarked.
\nHighlighting the presence of a crime\u2013politics nexus across the border, he said that anyone who challenges it is attacked. \u201cWe are on the right, and we will remain on the right. False narratives will no longer work,\u201d the DG ISPR asserted.
\nThe DG also remarked that implementation on the National Action Plan was essential, adding that more than 13,000 operations had been conducted this year. \u201cMaintaining law and order is the responsibility of the provincial government. The provincial government must act to eliminate drugs and non\u2013custom-paid vehicles,\u201d he added.
\nHe further informed the media that more than 1.8 million illegal foreigners had been deported from the country. \u201cA unified national narrative is necessary to eradicate terrorism,\u201d he stressed.
\nHe held Pakistan army has nothing to do with politics. It equally respects all parties. Armed forces have always been and will be kept away from politics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
