Great Britain\u2019s Jay Clarke secured the maiden men\u2019s singles title of the Pakistan ATP Challenger Cup 2025 here at the PTF Tennis Complex, marking a monumental achievement in Pakistan\u2019s sporting landscape.
\nIn the men\u2019s singles final, he delivered a commanding performance to defeat Mart Alkaya of Turkey with a scoreline of 6-3, 6-1, securing the maiden singles title.
\nThe Pakistan ATP Challenger Cup 2025 concluded with great success as the week-long event brought together 25 international players representing Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Australia, Italy, Bulgaria, Austria, Sweden, Georgia, Great Britain, and Switzerland, alongside 10 of Pakistan\u2019s leading national players.
\nThis prestigious tournament officially established Pakistan as a new and promising destination on the global tennis map, as it was the first ATP Challenger event ever hosted in the country.
\nElias Ymer of Sweden, ranked 169 in the ATP World\/PIF Rankings, entered as the top seed, while Jay Clarke of Great Britain, ranked 213, was seeded second.
\nThis historic event also held special emotional significance, as it marked the final ATP Challenger Tour appearance of Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi-Pakistan\u2019s most decorated and globally recognized tennis icon. His participation added further prestige to the inaugural edition of the Pakistan ATP Challenger Cup.
\nThe closing ceremony was graced by Maj. Gen. Usman-ul-Haq, Director Fauji Foundation, as the chief guest. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President PTF, attended as the guests of honor and distributed the prizes alongside Lt. Col. (R) Zia-ud-Din Tufail, Secretary General PTF.
\nThe event was attended by ambassadors, high commissioners, Senior PTF leadership, officials, prominent sports personalities, media representatives, and a large gathering of enthusiastic tennis fans, creating a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere at the PTF Tennis Complex.
\nSpeaking at the ceremony, the President PTF congratulated the champions, finalists, and all participants.
