Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday congratulated the newly elected members of the National Assembly (MNAs) on their success in the by-elections during their maiden call on at Prime Minister\u2019s House.
\nThe newly elected members of the National Assembly included Babar Nawaz, Bilal Farooq Tarar, Bilal Badar, Raja Daniyal, Hafiz Noman, Chaudhry Tufail Jatt and Mahmood Qadir, a Prime Minister\u2019s Office news release said.
\nPM Shehbaz extended best wishes to the newly elected members of the National Assembly. \u201cThe success in the by-elections was achieved due to the vision of Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, his unparalleled leadership and the hard work of party workers,\u201d he said.
\nThe prime minister underlined that the success in the by-elections reflected the people\u2019s trust in the hard work of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the prosperity and development of the people of the province.
\n\u201cI hope you will work wholeheartedly for the welfare and well-being of the people of your constituency. I also hope that you will fully participate in the National Assembly and play your important role in the legislation regarding the development and prosperity of Pakistan and public welfare,\u201d the prime minister said.
