\nPakistan\u2019s promising young tennis player Nadir Mirza has qualified for the semifinals of the ITF World Junior Tennis Championship (J-30) at Osaka, Japan.
\nAccording to details, in an impressive quarterfinal performance, Nadir defeated Kodai Abe of Japan with a score of 6-4, 6-1.

\nISLAMABAD, Nov 07 (APP): Pakistan\u2019s Hamza Roman, Mikaeel Ali Baig and Abubakar Talha have moved in the finals of the ITF Pakistan National Foods World Junior Tennis Championship J-60 2025 here at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Friday.
\nIn the boys\u2019 singles, Hamza Roman and Mikaeel Ali Baig qualified for the final while Hamza, Mikaeel and Abubakar also reached the boys doubles final.
\nA large number of junior tennis players from around the world, including China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lithuania, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Nepal and the host nation, Pakistan, are participating in this prestigious tournament.
\nAisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), congratulated all the players on their outstanding achievements and said, \u201cOur players are performing remarkably well across the world, and I am very happy to see such positive results. We have two boys in the singles final and three boys in the doubles final in Islamabad, while Nadir has reached the semifinal in Japan. This is a great testament to the hard work being done for the development of tennis in the country.\u201d
\nCol. (R) Zia-ud-Din Tufail, Secretary General PTF, also extended his congratulations to all the players for their excellent performances both at home and abroad, and wished them continued success in their upcoming matches.
\nBoys Singles semifinals: Mikaeel Ali Baig (PAK) beat Emre Atlamis (TUR) 6-3,7-5; Hamza Roman beat Abubakar Talha (PAK) 6-4,6-2.
\nGirls Singles semifinals: Haniya Aman Minhas (KSA) beat Denzi Cakil (TUR) 6-0.7-5; Varvara Rubtsova (RUS) beat Karolina Ligai (KAZ) 6-2,7-6(4).
