Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, currently on an official visit to Pakistan, visited the Pakistan Monument on Thursday, accompanied by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
\nUpon arrival, the distinguished guest was received by senior officials of the Interior Ministry and a contingent of Islamabad Police, which presented a guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
\nMinister Yerlikaya laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs\u2019 Monument and offered Fateha (prayers) to pay homage to the sacrifices of Pakistan\u2019s heroes who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
\nDuring the visit, Yerlikaya also viewed the panoramic sights of Islamabad and the Margalla Hills from Shakarparian, expressing admiration for the natural beauty and serenity of the federal capital.
\nMinister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, and Inspector General of Islamabad Police were also present at the occasion.
