\nSecurity forces kill 18 terrorists linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan in two separate operations in Balochistan on 28 and 29 October.
\nAn intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Chiltan Mountains area of Quetta District targeted the reported presence of terrorists. \u201cDuring the operation, our troops effectively engaged the terrorists\u2019 location, and after an intense exchange of fire, 14 Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralised and sent to hell,\u201d the ISPR said.
\nIn a second operation in Buleda, Kech District, a terrorist hideout was raided and four terrorists were \u201csuccessfully neutralised\u201d. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the terrorists, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities.
\n\u201cSanitisation operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists in the area,\u201d the ISPR added.
\nPresident Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have commended security forces for two successful operations against terrorists of Fitna al Hindustan in Quetta and Kech districts.
\nIn a statement, President Asif Ali Zardari said the security forces under \u201cAzm e Istehkam\u201d are committed to eliminating terrorism.
\nPrime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a statement, said the entire nation stands with the security forces in the fight against terrorism. He reiterated the firm commitment to eradicating terrorism in all its forms from the country.
\nAn attack on the Jaffer Express took place on Wednesday night, with terrorists launching four rockets at the passenger train. Security forces quickly retaliated, foiling the attack and forcing the assailants to flee. At least 13 people, including two police personnel, were injured in a hand grenade attack on a police van in Dera Murad Jamali on Wednesday.
\nAccording to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ghulam Sarwar Bhayo, unidentified assailants hurled a hand grenade at a police vehicle on routine patrol near Shah Petrol Pump.
