{"id":88313,"date":"2025-10-18T00:44:17","date_gmt":"2025-10-17T19:44:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nabanews.pk\/en\/?p=88313"},"modified":"2025-10-18T00:44:17","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T19:44:17","slug":"security-forces-kill-108-terrorists-in-four-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nabanews.pk\/en\/security-forces-kill-108-terrorists-in-four-days\/","title":{"rendered":"Security forces \u2018kill 108 terrorists\u2019 in four days"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RAWALPINDI<br \/>\nPakistan armed forces have killed at least 108 Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists over the past four days, the security sources said on Friday.<br \/>\nThe heavy losses suffered by Afghan Taliban proxy terrorists follow intensified counter-terrorism operations by security forces.<br \/>\nEarlier today, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Sultan Khel area of District Lakki Marwat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing eight terrorists.<br \/>\nPakistan forces have eliminated as many as 108 Afghan Taliban-backed terrorists in the last four days as forces remain dedicated to eradicate terrorism.<br \/>\nSecurity forces have conducted multiple IBOs in several areas of Balochistan and KP in the last four days.<br \/>\nAround 50 Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists were killed in a single operation a day earlier as Pakistan forces foiled an infiltration attempt in KP amid border tensions with Afghanistan.<br \/>\nPakistan has been demanding the Afghan Taliban regime to prevent its soil from being used to attack Pakistan.<br \/>\nThe Taliban regime \u2014 instead of addressing Pakistan\u2019s concerns over cross-border terrorism \u2014 deployed a large number of terrorists in their aggression against Pakistan earlier this month.<br \/>\nTaliban forces, in collaboration with their affiliated terror groups, launched an unprovoked attack on several Pakistan army posts on October 11.<br \/>\nThe aggression was met with a fierce response as Pakistan struck multiple Taliban posts along the border.<br \/>\nIn their retaliatory strikes, Pakistan killed over 200 Afghan Taliban and affiliated terrorists, while 23 soldiers laid down their lives in the border clashes.<br \/>\nPakistani forces dealt another crucial blow to the Taliban regime when they launched precision strikes deep inside Afghanistan on Thursday.<br \/>\nSoon after the Pakistan Armed Forces struck Kandahar province and Kabul, the Afghan Taliban regime requested a temporary ceasefire, which was accepted by Pakistan.<br \/>\nBorder clashes stopped after the Foreign Office announced that the two neighbouring countries had agreed to a 48-hour ceasefire.<br \/>\nHowever, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif warned that the ceasefire was \u201cfragile\u201d, asserting that Islamabad would swiftly respond if hostilities from Afghanistan continue to escalate.<br \/>\nIn an appearance on Geo News programme \u2018Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath\u2019, the minister said that Pakistan had the \u201cright and the capability to bomb or attack\u201d Afghanistan if their forces violated the ceasefire agreement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RAWALPINDI Pakistan armed forces have killed at least 108 Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists over the past four days, the security sources said on Friday.
