\nPunjab government has decided to bring Afghan citizen into tax net.
\nThe decision was taken in an important meeting on law order held here under Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
\nIt was decided in the meeting that the provincial government will work out real time data of illegal Afghan citizen.
\nPunjab government has decided to launch combing operation against the illegal immigrants and their businesses.
\nIt was decided whistle blower system will be introduced for illegal immigrants. Name of those who provide information will be kept secret. CM Punjab directed that illegal foreigners be deported immediately as per federal government policy.
\nPunjab government directed to recover the illegal arms forthwith. Home department issued ultimatum for depositing illegal arms within a month. The citizens should get register their illegal arms in Khidmat Markaz within a month.
\nCM ordered for inspecting stock of all dealers and arms sellers and impose complete ban on issuance of new arms license.
\nPunjab government made recommendations to federal government to regularize arms factories and manufacturers.
\nProvincial government accorded approval to enhance the sentence on possessing illegal arms. 14 years imprisonment and fine upto Rs 20 lac have been fixed for possessing illegal arms. This offence has been made non -bailable as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
