\nIslamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved judgment on the maintainability of contempt plea filed against Imaan Mazari advocate in regard to her statement about judges of trial court after preliminary hearing.
\nJustice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the contempt plea against Imaan Mazari Thursday.
\nCitizen Hafiz Ehtesham appeared in the court in person as petitioner.
\nThe petitioner took the plea the respondent has given an impression with reference to judges that there is division among them .
\nJustice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani said you are talking about which judges.
\nThe petitioner said sir you are too included in these 5 judges.
\nJustice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani expressed resentment over the petitioner saying stop here and not to speak even a single word now. Judges should tell their self-respect has been hurt. If some else tells that self-respect of judges is being hurt then a different impression will go.
\nJustice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked it can be personal opinion of any one. There is no division in the court. Keep yourself to your case only. We will not allow any division is made in this court.
\nThe petitioner read out the speech of Imaan Mazari she delivered outside press club.
\nJustice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani inquired how contempt of court can be imposed on what you are reading.

\nThe petitioner said impression has been given against the judges of trial court there is pressure on them.

\nThe petitioner said Imaan Mazari has talked about Rawalpindi trial court.
\nJustice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani remarked she is identifying weak judges. What is wrong in it. There are good judges and there are incompetent judges too. How can this a contempt of court case.
\nThe petitioner said insulting talk has been made about judges of district courts.
\nJustice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani said no judge is complaining in your case. Has any judge made any complaint. Judges go to bar councils and deliver speeches. First we will see is the complaint maintainable or otherwise.
