\nPrime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has said Pakistan is in the grip of torrential rains, global warming, cloud bursts and disastrous floods. Flood has caused damage to standing crops and live stock. Valiant and steadfast people are engaged in relief and rescue activities.
\nWe hold in high esteem the expression of solidarity and cooperation from international community and China . We are carving out avenue of new hope to become invulnerable to disasters of flood.
\nHe said this while addressing Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit .
\nHe said that China\u2019s achievements were the result of President Xi Jinping\u2019s wise and visionary leadership. Beijing\u2019s global leadership was not only visible in the SCO but also in other initiatives, he added
\nHe held certain countries used terrorism for political motives . World does not believe in their narrative now. Pakistan wants to see peace in Afghanistan. Pakistan believes in dialogue and diplomacy. Pakistan respects all global and bilateral relations.
\nEvidence are there regarding involvement of foreign hand in terrorist attacks in Balochistan and KP.
\nPM held Pakistan is desirous of peace. Pakistan wants stable relations with all its neighbors. But extremism and terrorism is threat to the region.
\nHe underlined that CPEC is the best project between the two countries. Pakistan is pursuing UN and SCO charter and will continue to pursue it.
\nThe unjust aggression of Israel against Iran is condemnable and unacceptable. The continuing suppression and starvation is perpetual wound on our collective conscience. Pakistan forcefully supports two state solution of Palestine approved by the UN. .
\nThose responsible for heinous crimes and their facilitators will have to be answerable. Pakistan has rendered unprecedented sacrifices in war on terror. This will continue for security and safety of country.
\nWe have irrefutable evidence on involvement of foreign hand in attack on Jaffar Express. Pakistan has not only rendered sacrifices for itself but also for the entire region and world. We have sacrificed over 90000 precious lives. Mothers, children, engineers, doctors , scientists, citizens and officers sacrificed their lives.
\nPM said Pakistan has witnessed drop in inflation, surplus current account and marked improvement in stock market. We are empowering our young generation. We are providing purposeful job and positive opportunities.
\nPakistan robust economic transformation during the last one and half year is before all of us. Our plan for economic transformation is based on 3 pillars. Trade, Infrastructure , agriculture , IT and investment in mineral resources is first pillar of our economic transformation. .
\nHe further said research and innovation is second pillar of economic transformation. Spike in revenue collection through tax reforms is the third pillar of our economic transformation. We have to work for peace, stability and prosperity of 3.5 billion SCO people. We will all together continue this journey.
\nI reiterate my determination to SCO charter. It is my request that journey ahead will be longer and arduous. Sometimes the sun is shining, sometimes the cold winds will put to test our courage, patience and resolve .
