\nOn the occasion of Youm-e-Istehsal (Day of Exploitation), Sindh\u2019s Minister for Works & Services and Prisons, Ali Hassan Zardari, expressed unwavering solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and strongly condemned the ongoing atrocities committed by the Indian Army in the occupied valley.
\nMarking the somber anniversary of August 5, 2019, when the Indian government revoked Article 370 of its Constitution\u2014which granted special autonomous status to Jammu and Kashmir\u2014the Minister said this day remains a dark chapter in modern history. He stated that India\u2019s illegal and unilateral actions, aimed at forcibly changing the demography and political status of Kashmir, are a blatant violation of international law, United Nations resolutions, and the Kashmiri people\u2019s right to self-determination.
\n\u201cThe people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their just struggle for freedom and dignity,\u201d said Minister Ali Hassan Zardari.
\nHe emphasized that the Modi regime\u2019s draconian measures, mass human rights violations, prolonged lockdowns, and suppression of civil liberties in Kashmir cannot and will not suppress the spirit of resistance that lives within every Kashmiri.
\nCalling Kashmir the jugular vein of Pakistan, the Minister affirmed that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people will never go in vain. He reiterated Pakistan\u2019s political, diplomatic, and moral support for the Kashmiri cause.
\n\u201cLet it be known to the coward Modi that Kashmir is and will remain the lifeblood of Pakistan,\u201d he asserted.
\nAli Hassan Zardari also highlighted the historic commitment of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to the Kashmir cause, stating:
\n\u201cFrom Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, and now Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, our leadership has consistently raised a powerful voice for the people of Kashmir on every international forum.\u201d
\nThe Minister concluded by urging the global community to take immediate notice of India\u2019s human rights violations in Kashmir and to pressure New Delhi to fulfill its international obligations, including implementation of UN Security Council resolutions on Kashmir.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
