\nIn solemn remembrance of the tragic day when the Indian state illegally revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, \u201cYoum-e-Istehsal\u201d (Kashmir Siege Day) was observed across Thatta with deep national emotion and firm resolve. A large, spirited rally was organized under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner Thatta, Faheem Shakir, to mark six years of brutal military lockdown and systematic human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
\nThe rally witnessed massive participation from students, teachers, civil society members, government officials, and citizens of all walks of life. With Pakistani flags held high and voices united in pain and purpose, participants chanted powerful slogans: \u201cKashmir Banega Pakistan,\u201d \u201cLong Live Pakistan,\u201d and \u201cLong Live Pakistan Army,\u201d echoing the unwavering bond between the people of Pakistan and their Kashmiri brethren.
\nNotable figures who joined the rally included District Education Officer Huzoor Bux Khaskheli, Dr. Syed Yameen Shah, DEO Primary Noor Sarai, MRF representative Adam Malik, Dr. Dawood Hilayo, Munir Memon, Khuda Bux Bharani, among others \u2014 all standing shoulder to shoulder in moral and national solidarity with Kashmir.
\nAddressing the emotionally charged gathering, the speakers affirmed:
\n\u201cPakistan is our first and last identity \u2014 and Kashmir is its jugular vein. The people of Kashmir are not alone; 240 million Pakistanis are with them in their just struggle for freedom. The Indian occupation is unlawful, inhumane, and destined to collapse under the weight of its own tyranny.\u201d
\nThey condemned in the strongest words the continuing wave of enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, communication blackouts, and demographic engineering in Kashmir, calling it \u201ca grave violation of international law and human dignity.\u201d
\nThe speakers demanded that the international community break its silence and fulfill its moral and legal responsibilities by taking immediate and effective action against the Indian occupation.
\n\u201cMore than 100,000 innocent Kashmiris have been martyred. Generations have grown up under siege. This is not a political issue \u2014 it is a humanitarian crisis,\u201d they emphasized.
\nPraise was also extended to the Pakistan Army for its historic role in defending the nation and standing firmly with the Kashmiri cause. *\u201dThe Pakistan Army is the pride of the Muslim world \u2014 a force of peace, dignity, and unmatched courage.
